Great stuff.

Thank you, it's really motivating to hear that the work is worth of something!

I am currently in progress of restoring the rest of what is on archive.org. Let's hope it turns out easy to get those articles there.

If you have an github account already, I would like to invite you into the organization so you could edit the pages

Yeah, my nick is the same on github. Feel free to invite me but markup is not my specialty. I just barely developed some passable wiki-code familiarity from editing The Dark Mod wikis.

You should have an invitation to the organization, once you accept it you should be able to login at modwiki :-)

Markdown is pretty easy.
https://help.github.com/articles/markdown-basics has the basics,
https://guides.github.com/features/mastering-markdown/ some advanced stuff (some of the Github-specific things like everything git related and those tasks list doesn't work in the wiki, the rest should).
http://www.tablesgenerator.com/markdown_tables is helpful to generate tables that you can just paste into the wiki

Hmm... I didn't get the invite yet?

Here is my github page:

github says the invite is pending. it also says
QuoteInvitations are sent via email and can be accepted at https://github.com/OpenTechEngine
maybe you get an option to join at that link?

Got it, thanks!

Now I've got some studying to do this evening... if I get a chance...

We downloaded a fresh dump from archive.org which should now really contain all pages and the most recent available versions.
We used another approach to converting to Markdown (for the gitit based wiki) this time and it seemed to work a lot better.
Links should now point to the right articles, the original external pages (if still up) or the archived pages on archive.org.
Images are fixed as far as possible, unfortunately many images seem to be missing on archive.org :(

In short: All pages are updated, empty and missing pages are now there as expected (as long as archive.org had them) :)

If you find any more problems, please report them here or in our bugtracker.
Contributions and improvements are welcome, of course, so if you want write access to the wiki just tell us!

WOOT!!! This is awesome!  >:D

Sorry I didn't do much in the interim, I got side-tracked with other projects.

No problem, this way I could just replace all articles without looking out for changes ;)

Any chance you that you would be able to excavate more of Sikkpin's posts from D3W (algorithmic)? He had some pretty nice examples such as Tangent Space AO and
parallax corrected cubemaps, etc.
