I wanted to get some background how long have the regulars here been editing Doom 3?

And is this the first Doom game you edited for, or are you a longtime fan?

I picked this to try and edit since it was the few games that could run and be edited on an old system. So yeah, I'm no longtime fan or horror fan. A reason to move brushes around, get some doors working and some kind of task for a player.

Been modding on PD3 on and off since 2004 when Doom 3 came out. Started right after I beat it. Did some light modding for Doom 1 and 2 aswell but not this much. I am definitely a Doomi for sure.

Modded on older Build games like Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior, etc. Modded a lot on Max Payne 1 and 2, and various other old games. Working on a Gungrave mod right now for Max Payne 2.

So you then have the knowledge and the experience. Unlike myself where I don't have that background. That always helps.

I got some knowledge but I'm not some genius or anything. I've had help and learned from it. And I started small. Start small then add as you gain more experience. Stick with one skill set such as modeling and animation or mapping and then go from there.
