AFAIK this works like entity   -> somegui -> parm. Then parm is for entity, not for gui itself (not sure about pda gui, perhaps  the player is that entity).

BFG is indeed a good engine, it even has stereo 3D support as a bonus, but imo there's some things that need resolving before it becomes a viable replacement to vanilla, one make a easier way to make GUI's, flash is fine but there's no tutorial out there on how to make even a simple fullscreen GUI in flash work for BFG (i'm looking at you motorsep, want the rest of the modders to share? Why not be the first?), two a place online where people can see the differences in shaders, material support and scripting, if any, between BFG and Vanilla.

Hello people!
I've seen this 3d engine over internet... My question is: it's possible use c++ with this 3d engine? Or only c? I think that c++ is an extension of c therefore it's possible use c++ with id tech 3, isn't? thanks in advance!

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

HI ALL

I play quake a lot with a mod to give it better models and they look really good but doom has no good 3d models are the formats that doom uses harder to work with? or did no one care to give doom good 3d models
