Yeah you're absolutely right but it really ties it all together. I think this is the best explanation of why you see things in older Dooms in Doom 2016 and vice versa. I'll take this as truth since it's better then any other theory I've seen. Plus it makes the lore so much more awesome.

Yeah it's time has been over man. If devs aren't flocking to it in droves by now then there are obviously limitations within the engine that hindered devs in various ways depending on what they wanted out of it. Listen to Carmack, he built it.

Instructions for installation are in the description and readme files that come with the downloads. Premium packs are not even made by me. Try to read more and pay attention to the author of each download.

I hate to be the stickler but "Too" in your title should be "To" unless you're saying the road has too much Hell.

Great concept by the way. Game sounds interesting.

I'm pretty sure I included everything you need to know in the readme that comes with the PD3 source files. It has to do with the Grab.cpp not being included in the project I believe. Just add it manually. It's already there but has to be added to the project. Double check that readme.
