Hi!

Sorry about the lack of news lately, but the past few weeks were eventful to say the least :)

I moved places and had to wait a while for my internet connection.

I also upgraded my laptop to a new one (i7, Nvidia GTX, 16GB RAM, SSD) and right now I'm playing through DOOM 4, which is absolutely goddamn amazing. It's my favorite game of all time, no question - and I positively can't wait for Eternal.

I plan to get back at this project soon (I have to finish DOOM 4 first you understand :)), I have a couple of nice surprises coming up.

That's good to hear!

Keeping Firefox up to date is a good idea generally, not only because of new features and incompatibilities with new websites, but also because the updates contain security updates.

Because it was worked until now.

probably the new server uses a newer kind of HTTPS encryption.

why are you using an outdated firefox version?

UPDATE: According to https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=modwiki.dhewm3.org&s=149.248.63.238&hideResults=on even Firefox 31 should work - weird. Are you on WinXP? (though they claim that Firefox 49 on WinXP should work).

Just an update on this.  Was able to get almost everything above working.  Will have to look at quake4 hardqore’s source for how we did jump through platforms.  I’ll get the updated gpl source code & build up in the first half of 2019

Looks like this site and modwiki.xnet.fi is unable to open with older browsers (e.g. Mozilla 43.0).

Before crash it was possible. Now it opens just as empty page.

I can’t believe we’re halfway through December already…I hope everyone’s having fun getting ready for the holidays…(around here, it’s pretty much mayhem…you know…“wreck the malls” and all that.)

Animatons for the player are in the player.def.  The mp mesh & single player mesh have different skeleton when it comes to hand attachment joints.
