It is a Intel Q45 chipset, integrated graphics running on a small form factor optiplex 780. I believe it is from 2008.

The error is also run as Administrator, the account is Administrator, whether I click that option in launch on the cd file.

The menu loads, but the game doesn't load after clicking on play.

The grapgics chipset is a Q45, it should run.

I'm not suprised why there are no users of the older games on newer systems, since they may not be worth the hassle with all the new content out. In particular since EF and half life 2 well that can run via steam, but the issue with modding those two games is that the mods I want to edit, are unique but not supported or long cancelled. The files to edit aren't there or the knowledge.

Hi,

I wanted to know what is the solution to running this game on windows 7, I've installed it on the new upgrade, but It won't run, I tried run as Administrator, and it is an admin account, the default one.

I have noticed two or three other games are like this, Mafia, GTA 3, Vice city won't even load to install.

Elite force works, the expansion pack cd won 't even run due to 64bit OS.

Driver works, as well I think Men in Black. And San Andreas does work, I think both due to Driver and SA they have newer installation programs on them.

I wanted to get some background how long have the regulars here been editing Doom 3?

And is this the first Doom game you edited for, or are you a longtime fan?

I picked this to try and edit since it was the few games that could run and be edited on an old system. So yeah, I'm no longtime fan or horror fan. A reason to move brushes around, get some doors working and some kind of task for a player.

Remember, I'm not in the know about modifications. I never play Doom 3. I only returned to edit a map  early this month or well copied a hallway from the Mars city map and use that as a start for a small edit, hopefully with a new demon.

I downloaded one modification, 1.3GB. Released in 2010. I have yet to extract it and try play it.

Is that going to configure Doom 3 in a way that could cause any problems for editing?

I tried another search on youtube, the only change I can see and what isn't in the one I'm editing, is that the examples on youtube have different colours of red, blue and green.

That was why i released the file for somebody to try it out for me. I just get fed up thinking about it.

The skeleton is only animated at the legs of the object. Does that make any difference concerning the rest of it that doesn't animate?

I just may be thought also the ship that brings in the marine could be controlled, fly around within an area of Martian surface, hmm like on the Monorail map.

Hi,

I was reading this section's description about how the core of the game is C++.

With leaving aside basic editing such levels, characters.

Just what has anyone changed or expanded for this game recently or in the past?

Could anyone drive a vehicle? If I recall there was source code released for the game, notsure if I'm confusing this with that, or they interconnected.
