Try to find a movie (named machinema or same). It's a long movie (cinematic scene) based on D3 engine about marines and zombies somewhere on military base.

I would like to see this movie again.

Making movie in-engine is easy (just tedious) - it involves level design and level scripting (and cinematic camera work/export from Blender).

i've been trying to figure out the movie and I can't either.  I don't remember many movies being made with doom 3, except at the very beginning.  Wasn't it Carmacks (not then) wife who made a movie making mod for Doom 3?

Did she? I only remember something about Quake3 (or its engine) - but of course that doesn't mean much

Also, there apparently was a "Machinimation 2" Mod for Doom3 that might be mildly relevant (maybe you can google for movies made with it; no idea if Carmack's wife was involved with that project)

Well, I remember not many details. There is a marine sleeping under a realistic looking (rigid) green blanket. After that there are running and shooting marines and then zombies infest. Some marines hiding into room.

Perhaps this is false memories, but some details looks real.

Machinimation 2 is by Fountainhead Entertainment, that was hid wife's company from what I remember.
I don't think you're talking about a movie bitterman, I think you're talking about a d3 mod.  I remember a mod with a really involved opening sequence, I want to say you even had to crawl somewhere at the start.  I'll see if I can find it somewhere.

I doubt about mod because that scene was too long for intro or cutscene.

I remember something like this, not long after Doom3 was released.  It was called something like "A Marine's Story" or something with the word marine in it.
I would definitely have it, but would need the exact filename to figure out which disc it's on.
